Tropius is especially weak against Ice type Pokemon, they will deal 4x damage to it!

The types that are strong against Tropius are Ice, Fire, Flying, Poison type Pokemon.

For the best defense, Steel types have very effective defense against Tropius, and will be resistant to damage from Tropius' STAB attacks:

Rock types will also deal super-effective damage against Tropius, but be careful using Pokemon of this type because they may also receive extra damage from some of Tropius' attacks!

Weaknesses

Tropius' type is Grass and Flying.

Tropius is especially vulnerable to Ice attacks, it will receive a super effective four times (4x) the amount of damage! Since Ice type Pokemon are especially strong against Tropius, you should attack with this type of Pokemon.

Tropius has a weakness to Ice, Fire, Flying, Poison, Rock types. These Pokemon types will be strong against Tropius, causing Tropius to take a super effective quadruple (4x) damage from Ice type attacks, and causing Tropius to take a super effective double (2x) damage from Fire, Flying, Poison, Rock type attacks.

Ground type attacks will have no effect on Tropius, as Tropius is immune to this type of damage! Please avoid these types of attacks.

Please keep in mind that Tropius is resistant to attacks from Fighting, Water, Grass types, and these attacks are not very effective and cause reduced damage, so they should be avoided.
