Best Counters

The types that are strong against Scovillain are Flying and Poison type Pokemon.

For the best defense, Fire and Dragon types have very effective defense against Scovillain, and will be resistant to damage from Scovillain's STAB attacks:

Rock types will also deal super-effective damage against Scovillain, but be careful using Pokemon of this type because they may also receive extra damage from some of Scovillain's attacks!

Weaknesses

Scovillain's type is Grass and Fire.

Scovillain has a weakness to Flying, Poison, Rock types. These Pokemon types will be strong against Scovillain, causing Scovillain to take a super effective double (2x) damage from attacks of those types.

Please keep in mind that Scovillain is resistant to attacks from Electric, Fairy, Steel, Grass types, and these attacks are not very effective and cause reduced damage, so they should be avoided.
