Rayquaza is especially weak against Ice type Pokemon, they will deal 4x damage to it!

The types that are strong against Rayquaza are Ice, Fairy, Rock type Pokemon.

For the best defense, Steel types have very effective defense against Rayquaza, and will be resistant to damage from Rayquaza's STAB attacks:

Dragon types will also deal super-effective damage against Rayquaza, but be careful using Pokemon of this type because they may also receive extra damage from some of Rayquaza's attacks!

Weaknesses

Rayquaza's type is Dragon and Flying.

Rayquaza is especially vulnerable to Ice attacks, it will receive a super effective four times (4x) the amount of damage! Since Ice type Pokemon are especially strong against Rayquaza, you should attack with this type of Pokemon.

Rayquaza has a weakness to Ice, Dragon, Fairy, Rock types.
