The types that are strong against Lileep are Fighting and Steel type Pokemon.

For the best defense, Steel types have very effective defense against Lileep, and will be resistant to damage from Lileep's STAB attacks:

Ice types will also deal super-effective damage against Lileep, but be careful using Pokemon of this type because they may also receive extra damage from some of Lileep's attacks!

Weaknesses

Lileep's type is Rock and Grass.

Lileep has a weakness to Fighting, Ice, Steel types. These Pokemon types will be strong against Lileep, causing Lileep to take a super effective double (2x) damage from attacks of those types.

Please keep in mind that Lileep is resistant to attacks from Electric and Normal types, and these attacks are not very effective and cause reduced damage, so they should be avoided.
