Hydrapple is especially weak against Ice type Pokemon, they will deal 4x damage to it!

The types that are strong against Hydrapple are Ice, Bug, Fairy, Flying, Poison type Pokemon.

For the best defense, Steel types have very effective defense against Hydrapple, and will be resistant to damage from Hydrapple's STAB attacks:

Dragon types will also deal super-effective damage against Hydrapple, but be careful using Pokemon of this type because they may also receive extra damage from some of Hydrapple's attacks!

Weaknesses

Hydrapple's type is Grass and Dragon.

Hydrapple is especially vulnerable to Ice attacks, it will receive a super effective four times (4x) the amount of damage! Since Ice type Pokemon are especially strong against Hydrapple, you should attack with this type of Pokemon.

Hydrapple has a weakness to Ice, Bug, Dragon, Fairy, Flying, Poison types. These Pokemon types will be strong against Hydrapple, causing Hydrapple to take a super effective quadruple (4x) damage from Ice type attacks, and causing Hydrapple to take a super effective double (2x) damage from Bug, Dragon, Fairy, Flying, Poison type attacks.
