Hoppip is especially weak against Ice type Pokemon, they will deal 4x damage to it!

The types that are strong against Hoppip are Ice, Fire, Flying, Poison type Pokemon.

For the best defense, Steel types have very effective defense against Hoppip, and will be resistant to damage from Hoppip's STAB attacks:

Rock types will also deal super-effective damage against Hoppip, but be careful using Pokemon of this type because they may also receive extra damage from some of Hoppip's attacks!

Weaknesses

Hoppip's type is Grass and Flying.

Hoppip is especially vulnerable to Ice attacks, it will receive a super effective four times (4x) the amount of damage! Since Ice type Pokemon are especially strong against Hoppip, you should attack with this type of Pokemon.

Hoppip has a weakness to Ice, Fire, Flying, Poison, Rock types. These Pokemon types will be strong against Hoppip, causing Hoppip to take a super effective quadruple (4x) damage from Ice type attacks, and causing Hoppip to take a super effective double (2x) damage from Fire, Flying, Poison, Rock type attacks.
