The types that are strong against Diancie are Steel, Grass, Ground, Water type Pokemon.

For the best defense, Steel types have very effective defense against Diancie, and will be resistant to damage from Diancie's STAB attacks:

Weaknesses

Diancie's type is Rock and Fairy.

Diancie is especially vulnerable to Steel attacks, it will receive a super effective four times (4x) the amount of damage! Since Steel type Pokemon are especially strong against Diancie, you should attack with this type of Pokemon.

Diancie has a weakness to Steel, Grass, Ground, Water types. These Pokemon types will be strong against Diancie, causing Diancie to take a super effective quadruple (4x) damage from Steel type attacks, and causing Diancie to take a super effective double (2x) damage from Grass, Ground, Water type attacks.
