Best Counters

The types that are strong against Cradily are Fighting and Steel type Pokemon.

For the best defense, Steel types have very effective defense against Cradily, and will be resistant to damage from Cradily's STAB attacks:

Ice types will also deal super-effective damage against Cradily, but be careful using Pokemon of this type because they may also receive extra damage from some of Cradily's attacks!

Weaknesses

Cradily's type is Rock and Grass.

Cradily has a weakness to Fighting, Ice, Steel types. These Pokemon types will be strong against Cradily, causing Cradily to take a super effective double (2x) damage from attacks of those types.

Please keep in mind that Cradily is resistant to attacks from Electric and Normal types, and these attacks are not very effective and cause reduced damage, so they should be avoided.
