Applin is especially weak against Ice type Pokemon, they will deal 4x damage to it!

The types that are strong against Applin are Ice, Bug, Fairy, Flying, Poison type Pokemon.

For the best defense, Steel types have very effective defense against Applin, and will be resistant to damage from Applin's STAB attacks:

Dragon types will also deal super-effective damage against Applin, but be careful using Pokemon of this type because they may also receive extra damage from some of Applin's attacks!

Weaknesses

Applin's type is Grass and Dragon.

Applin is especially vulnerable to Ice attacks, it will receive a super effective four times (4x) the amount of damage! Since Ice type Pokemon are especially strong against Applin, you should attack with this type of Pokemon.

Applin has a weakness to Ice, Bug, Dragon, Fairy, Flying, Poison types. These Pokemon types will be strong against Applin, causing Applin to take a super effective quadruple (4x) damage from Ice type attacks, and causing Applin to take a super effective double (2x) damage from Bug, Dragon, Fairy, Flying, Poison type attacks.

Please keep in mind that Applin is resistant to attacks from Ground, Electric, Grass, Water types, and these attacks are not very effective and cause reduced damage, so they should be avoided.
